Cassidy McDermott Smith is investigating ideas of public spaces in a new dance project. Alongside collaborators, Mitchell Christie and Maxine Carlisle, They will be interrogating spatial awareness through a critically queer lens, observing how the body acts as a closet or barrier between individual privacy and the public sphere.
