Street Finders II [Sydney] is an open workshop to create a task force for public action and intervention. The project is based on the practice of 'choreocraftivism': a participatory response to the climate crisis involving collaborative acts that move against consumerism, waste and extractive practices through valuing the more-than-human. Street Finders invites participants to wander the streets looking for abandoned 'things'. Through their moving presence and care they will invent and apply gestural patterns like 'binding, folding, and arranging' to encourage adoption. All finders are asked to film their actions as a contribution to an infinite video loop of distributed action.
